What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as browser local storage, work in much the same way. In this policy, "cookies" covers both.

Some cookies are strictly necessary for a website to work. Others, such as analytics cookies, we set only with your consent.

Which cookies does Union Trade use?

We use two categories of cookies:

  • Strictly necessary: one cookie that remembers your cookie choices. It is always on.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics 4 cookies, set only if you accept them.

We do not use advertising, remarketing or social media tracking cookies.

Strictly necessary cookies

The website needs this cookie to remember your choice, so it does not ask for consent.

  • ut_consent — set by Union Trade. Purpose: stores your cookie choices so that the banner does not reappear on every page. Expires: 12 months.

If you reject analytics cookies, this is the only cookie we set.

Do we use advertising or tracking cookies?

No. We do not use advertising, remarketing or social media tracking cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before setting them.

We host our fonts and images ourselves, so viewing a page does not send your data to font or image services.

Changes to this policy

We review this policy whenever we change the cookies the website uses. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows the current version.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does Union Trade use advertising cookies?

No. The website sets one strictly necessary cookie to remember your cookie choices and, only if you accept them, Google Analytics 4 cookies to measure how the website is used. We do not use advertising, remarketing or social media tracking cookies, and we do not turn on Google Analytics advertising features. If this changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.

What happens if I reject analytics cookies?

The website works exactly the same. Google Analytics does not load, no analytics cookies are set and no analytics data is sent to Google. We store only your choice, in a strictly necessary cookie, so that the banner does not reappear on every page. You can change your mind at any time through the Cookie settings link in the footer.

How do I change or withdraw my cookie consent?

Click Cookie settings in the footer of any page and turn analytics on or off. Withdrawing consent stops Google Analytics from that point. Cookies already set stay in your browser until they expire or you delete them in your browser settings. We also ask for your choice again after 12 months, or sooner if we change the cookies we use.
